Media Arts were really straightforward to deal with.
Neil worked really closely alongside us on our project, bringing a great deal of creativity to our planning process that really helped shape our vision.
Media Arts created excellent storyboards and the final products were absolutely spot-on.
The videos they produced with costumed characters as voices from the past were simply amazing and were really well-received by our audiences.
Kirkleatham Museum has worked with Media Arts on several very different projects.
Neil has always been very supportive – working with us, using his expert knowledge to plan and guide the projects for the best outcomes. His friendly and calm demeanour helps make the process of being filmed far less nerve racking than it might otherwise be.
The Saxon Princess film is now a core part of our renowned exhibition. With Neil’s guidance the museum education officers from across Teesside have now brought their promotional materials into the 21st century with films for teachers and our own YouTube channel.
Media Arts have provided a consistently high quality service for us and, should the opportunity arise, we will be keen to work with them again.
We have worked with Neil from Media Arts on several projects since 2008.
The majority of the work has involved working with groups of secondary school pupils who have developed their own interpretation of our historic sites and are presenting it in dramatic form.
One of Neil’s great skills is his ability to put people at ease very quickly, and to make the whole process of being filmed much less daunting than it might otherwise be. This is crucial with self-conscious teenagers and Neil is able to get the very best out of them whilst making it a fun and enjoyable experience.
The quality of the finished product is excellent, and we always feel that Media Arts are able to produce something that is exactly what you wanted it to be, with minimal fuss.
The whole experience of working with them, from the initial discussions through to the delivery of your DVD is an enjoyable one and I would not hesitate to work with them again should a suitable project arise.
I booked Neil at Media Arts to work on a project for the business which required filming to take place in one of our stores, editing and a presentation to be created.
Throughout the process Neil was professional, creative and completed tasks to time.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Neil to other organisations as the work he produced was excellent.
It’s been a pleasure to work with Media Arts on a promotional video to showcase County Durham Sport’s work. Neil was very reliable, skilled and professional and the filming process was very efficient. Thank you Media Arts!
Media Arts have provided a consistently reliable and high quality service to us.
Neil got to know our requirements quickly and efficiently provided a great service.
He always accommodates client requests and certainly delivers more than expected.
Working with Neil was effortless and his eye for capturing what your message is all about was just what we needed.
On the day of shooting the footage Neil and his team did all the prep work and arrived full of ideas, eager to capture the essence of my business and the impact it has on young people.
We have other projects that I’m excited to have Neil and the team involved in because his work has not only delivered our message on point but it’s also given us something extra we never thought we had. I can’t thank them enough!
Durham Community Action originally commissioned Media Arts to film and edit short clips for showcasing local volunteers in our Volunteering Awards Celebration in October 2015.
This was a difficult task to undertake, as we stipulated that the filming would be in multiple geographical areas in a single day, in community buildings and using people who are not normally on camera; Media Arts were outstanding at being adaptable to our needs and flexible with us to achieve the result we were after.
Despite many of the hurdles encountered by filming local people in public places and the short time scale we imposed for the commission, the resulting film was of exceptional high quality and exactly what we wanted – On the night at our Awards Celebration, it was well received by our 200 guests and is a recognition to Media Arts for the commitment they provided.
As a result of this excellent experience in 2015, we have commissioned Media Arts again to film the County Durham National Neighbourhood Planning Roadshow in March 2016, again we are very pleased with the service provided and the end result.
Media Arts made the whole recording process a breeze, from writing the scripts to finding the actors and finally recording the content.
Everything was done with great attention to the historical detail we provided.
We would definitely use them again in future
I’ve known Neil Jackson of Media Arts for a short time but he has been one of the most delightful people to work with. He came to us through a recommendation from other associates in the business community and he lived up to everything others said about him and his work. Neil has an in depth knowledge of his area and great expertise in his field. He dealt with the challenges of our projects quickly, and was creative and inspiring to work with. He has been helpful and supportive, not just on the projects we engaged him for, but the wider support and advice he provided us with.
I have worked with Media Arts on small projects, but which were very important to us. Neil came up with the creative solutions and finish we were looking for and produced something that exceeded our expectations.
I would happily introduce Neil to any partner or associate and would recommend him without reservation as I would be 100% confident that he will deliver.
